The assumption of costs for alternative practitioner services by private health insurance companies and supplementary insurance is possible depending on the contract status. Billing takes place according to the fee ordinance for alternative practitioners.

 

Naturopathic medical license

Permission to practice medical naturopathy was granted in Germany on November 22, 2011 in accordance with the naturopath law (Heilpraktikergesetz). The competent supervisory authority is the Munich District Office.
